1. Acceptance and scope
By accessing this website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please discontinue use. Separate written terms apply to event attendance, tables, sponsorships, partnerships, donations, auction participation, hospitality, purchases or other transactions. If there is a conflict, the signed or expressly accepted transaction document prevails for that matter.
2. No binding offer
Website material is indicative and informational. It is not a binding offer, prospectus, solicitation, guarantee, medical statement or commitment. An enquiry, invitation request, expression of interest or website submission does not create entitlement to attendance, allocation, partnership, sponsorship, auction acceptance or any other service.
3. Event and programme changes
Dates, venues, schedules, hosts, speakers, artists, vehicles, lots, partners, hospitality elements, access, pricing and availability may change or be withdrawn. Confirmed arrangements are governed by the relevant written confirmation or contract. Third-party services remain subject to their providers’ terms.
4. Permitted use
You may view and make reasonable personal or internal business use of the website. You must not misuse the website, interfere with security, introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorised access, harvest personal data, impersonate another person, submit unlawful content or use automated systems in a manner that burdens the service.
5. Enquiries and submitted material
You confirm that information you submit is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you are authorised to provide it. Do not submit confidential material unless an appropriate confidentiality arrangement exists. Auction items, sponsorship concepts, images and proposals remain subject to review and separate written acceptance.
6. Medical and charitable references
Information about pancreatic cancer research, medical innovation or beneficiary organisations is provided for awareness and programme context. It is not medical advice and must not be used for diagnosis or treatment decisions. Questions about a donation’s legal, accounting or tax treatment should be addressed through the relevant transaction documentation and independent professional advice.
7. External links and third parties
Links to third-party websites are provided for context or convenience. Foundation 22 does not control their availability, security, content, privacy practices or terms. References to third parties do not imply a legally binding partnership unless expressly confirmed.
8. Availability and warranties
Reasonable efforts are made to maintain accurate and secure content, but the website is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, no warranty is given that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete or suitable for a particular purpose.
9. Liability
Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, Foundation 22 and persons involved in operating the website are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising solely from reliance on public website content, unavailable service, third-party content or use contrary to these terms. Any transaction-specific liability is governed by the relevant written agreement.
10. Governing framework
Mandatory consumer and data-protection rights remain unaffected. Until the incorporated operator is formally published, the governing law and forum for each commercial or event relationship are those stated in its relevant written agreement. Website-only disputes should first be raised through legal@foundation-22.org so the matter can be addressed directly.
11. Changes
These terms may be updated to reflect the operating entity, programme, technology or legal requirements. Continued use after publication of an updated version is subject to that version.
