The current static Foundation 22 package does not activate analytics, advertising pixels or cross-site marketing technologies by default. Optional categories remain disabled unless you actively consent.
1. What these technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored by a browser. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, tags, software development kits and device identifiers. The relevant rules apply according to what the technology does, not merely what it is called.
2. Consent principle
Strictly necessary technologies may operate without consent where they are required to transmit communications, provide a service expressly requested by you, protect the website or remember your privacy choice. Analytics, audience measurement, advertising, social-media pixels and other optional technologies will not be activated unless you consent. Refusing optional technologies does not prevent access to the website.
3. Current storage register
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| f22_consent_v1 | Foundation 22 | Records whether optional analytics and marketing technologies are accepted or rejected so the website respects the visitor’s choice. | Strictly necessary | Up to 180 days |
| Server security logs | Hosting/security provider | Supports delivery, abuse prevention, availability and incident investigation. This is server-side processing rather than a browser cookie. | Strictly necessary / security | According to the provider’s documented security-retention period |
4. Optional categories
Analytics
May be used in the future to understand aggregated site use, page performance and technical errors. No analytics tool is included in this static release. If introduced, it must listen to the Foundation 22 consent state and remain blocked until analytics consent is given.
Marketing
May include advertising conversion tags, social-media pixels, cross-site measurement or embedded marketing services. No marketing tracker is included in this static release. If introduced, it must remain blocked until marketing consent is given.
5. Changing or withdrawing consent
You can reopen Cookie Settings from the footer of every page. Rejection is as accessible as acceptance. Withdrawing consent changes the choice for future use; depending on the tool, you may also need to delete existing cookies through browser settings.
6. Browser controls
Browsers allow you to inspect and delete stored data or block cookies. Blocking strictly necessary storage may prevent the website from remembering your choice. Browser settings do not by themselves provide category-specific consent to Foundation 22.
7. Changes to this register
The register will be updated before any new non-essential technology is activated. The production team should verify the live website with a cookie scanner after every release, especially after WordPress plugins, analytics, embedded media, CRM forms or advertising tools are introduced.
